Editing

Editing is a stage in the writing process where revisions are made to the content of the manuscript. These changes focus on improving the language and readability. This is done by checking grammar, spelling, consistency, diction, and clarity.

But that's not all. Editing requires good language and grammar skills and intuition--knowing what works and what doesn't.

One challenge an editor faces is providing suggestions and revisions without losing an author's voice. You don't want the words you've breathed life into to sound like mine (or any other editor's). You want it to sound like the best version of your voice.

Just as a vocal teacher takes your voice and helps it resonate, I want to help you make your manuscript sing. I want it to be the best version of your creation.
